Project custom! Studded boots

Until the new collection Fall / Winter 2009-2010 that I'm preparing you,

here a little tutorial for users of studded boots:)

Please tell me if an item you do not seem clear, I re-explain it!

CUSTOMIZATION OF LEATHER BOOTS SINGLES

° a pair of leather boots (or imitation leather, whatever), biker style

° nails

> For my part I took 48 and 22 square nails round nails

° tape

· Scissors

° spool + needle strong enough

° solvent for fabric / leather

° leatherette strap (to make the straps studded)

> For my part I took a piece of 1.50m

° silver pen (to draw marks on lanyard)

° mesurer le tour de la botte (au niveau de la cheville), là ou viendra se positionner la sangle/

>sur ma botte ca donne 34cm.

° couper la sangle en quatre bout égaux (en respectant la mesure taken previously).

> to put two straps for boots.

° landmarks to position draw later nails with silver pen,

on the first end of strap:

> on my end I have made every 3cm.

° coller avec de la colle spéciale tissu/cuir les bouts de la lanière de manière à former un rond

(la sangle) qui viendra se glisser autour de la botte.

° sew all around the place previously stuck to consolidate.

>> repeat the 3/4/5 parts on the three remaining pieces of straps.

° Determine the location where the straps will be positioned on the boots,

put a pin to get a fix, and do the same on the other boot.

· Switch strap on the boots, put it at the mark, and sew the two edges (top and bottom)

about 1cm

> on my boot, the bottom strap is sewn on the front so it falls to the rear,

et la sangle du haut et cousu sur le derrière, pour tomber à l'avant en croisant la première sangle.

° I also put nails on the strap round base, which was already on the boot:)
